how do I place an order?

how do I know if my order is confirmed?

once approved, I'll send an invoice for a 50% deposit due within 48 hours. your spot on my calendar is not held until the deposit is received, and at that point your order is confirmed. the remaining balance is due one week before your pickup date.

how much notice do you need?

it's never too early, but it could be too late! I recommend reaching out no less than 2 weeks before you need your cookies, or 1 month for orders of 5+ dozen. the sooner you reach out the better — even if you don't have all the details yet. a 20% rush fee applies to orders placed less than 2 weeks in advance.

is there a minimum order size?

yes, for most orders! classic, elaborate, and printed all start at one dozen (12 cookies). showstopper is the exception: since every cookie is fully custom and no two are alike, there's no minimum, just tell me how many you'd like.

absolutely! inspiration photos, invitations, pinterest boards, all welcome. please note I won't directly copy another artist's work, but I'll use your inspiration to create something uniquely yours.

why are custom decorated cookies so expensive?

custom decorated cookies are hand-made, one at a time, with a lot of skill, time, and expensive ingredients. each cookie is individually decorated using royal icing techniques that can take hours to complete for a single set, and that's before accounting for the design time involved in planning and creating your unique set. you're not just buying a cookie, you're commissioning a tiny work of art, made just for you. the short answer? because they're worth it.
